Drudging On

Today I has an uninspired call with Iron Fist Clothing. Every distribution company wants a minimum whether quantity or dollar. I remember back when I was working for Pleaser USA, Inc. we established higher minimums to weed out the non serious customers. Now that I am on the opposite side of the spectrum I see how hard it can be when your using your own capital to fund your business. I know I could go get a loan and be done with it however I don't want to be owned. My dream is to do this my way. The hard way. I am still excited about www.hipcrypt.com I know it isn't flashy or all hyped up but it's real. It's years of scraping and back breaking. Endless favors from friends who were willing to help. Now at this stage I can see it's almost in my grasp. Do I abandon the wholesale aspect? So I continue to sell my handmade goods? If I continue with the skeleton hands then I have to source a manufacturer since the hands can no longer be found anywhere. I could ask my sister-in-law since she lives in India if there is factory that could make them. Then how many would i be obligated to buy? I don't know what to do. There has to be other suppliers that sell wholesale without minimums. The sad thing is companies like the Electric Chair in Huntington Beach are no longer there. The only reason  Hot Topic lasted is because they have abandoned their gothic roots. I don't want to abandon the things that I love to make money. That's not real and that is not me. I'm perplexed. Back to the drawing board.
